Sin Pan Daniel Ho, PhD candidate

Sin Pan Daniel Ho grew up in Hong Kong. He completed his undergraduate studies in Pure Mathematics at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK) where he received his BSc degree. From 1993 to 1997, he pursued his Master of Divinity (MDiv) and Master of Theology (MTh) at Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena, California and graduated with distinction. His research area in his MTh program is the theology of the Holy Spirit and mission theology of Karl Barth. He has been a pastor of a Lutheran church in Hong Kong for 11 years. In 2009, he started his PhD research in Biblical Studies at the University of Sheffield. He was recently upgraded to PhD candidacy in 2010. The research area of his PhD program covers 1 Corinthians, Pauline theology, the use of Old Testament (OT) in New Testament (NT) and the social world of NT times.

Sang Lam, PhD

Sang Lam grew up in Hong Kong. He did both his undergraduate and postgraduate studies in Electronic Engineering at The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) where he received BEng and MPhil degrees. From 2005 to 2009, he pursued his doctoral research on semiconductor nanophotonics at the University of Sheffield and was awarded the PhD in 2010.
Apart from his scientific research areas in semiconductor devices and photonics, he is also keen on language study, systematic theology and history.

Jonathan Smith, PhD

Jonathan Smith grew up in Bedfordshire, England. He completed undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in Philosophy at the University of Sheffield and was awarded the PhD in 2010. He lives in Sheffield, England, with his wife and baby son.
